let's take the same photo at the same place
Amanda WRIGHT and Gerard BOLLEE 96 years later!
We had first to find the historical house inquestion. Our best trackers worked to find it. Then we had to convince the people living there to accept we could take the famous photo.
All historical photos were taken on 1st May 1909 before the garden pavilion o Leon BOLLEE home. that day the whole WRIGHT family - with Wilbur, his brother Orville and his sister Katharine are present - was presented the Muse of Aviation trophy by Aero-Club of Sarthe, honoring the achievements of Wilbur WRIGHT in Le Mans from 8th August 1908 to 2nd January 1909, marking the deep friendship between Le Mans & Sarthe (France) and the famous family of inventors from Dayton, Ohio (USA).
The WRIGHT family came escpecially from Roma to le Mans before going back home to USA through UK.
