The extraordinary Le Mans Sarthe Aero Retro teamwork!
Building a WRIGHT FLYER flying replica cannot be done without a multiple competence teamwork pf passioned people as per Le Mans Sarthe Aero Retro. This is a great plus of this project to unify such varied expertises around this ambitious project.Are present that day at the Le Mans airport hangar, from left to right:
. Jef (Jean-Francois) JACQUELIN, instructor pilot in Le Mans (AD'AIR air school) and future officiel pilot of the WRIGHT FLYER III;
. Alain PAYEUR, urbanist and designer (creator of Aero Retro logo), one of the multiple competence operator of the teamwork;
. Claude COSTENTIN, former pilot and a real fan of aviation, the teamwork motorist and a great mechanics;
. Martine LESELLIER, one of the teamwork lady, become a fabrics specialist for airplanes, was teached specifically for these early airplanes fabrics oprerations;
. François PAYEUR, formezr architect (house and buliding construction) having designed sailing boats (his other passion), the Le Mans Sarthe Aero retro President is also the main 'architect' of the WRIGHT FLYER III replica, a mission of great importance!
. André MARSEUL, former teacher at Le Mans AFP, excellent mechanics, has made almost all mechanical parts (fitting parts,...) used for the FLYER manufacture;
. Gerard BOLLEE, Honorary President of Aero Retro, engineer;
. Michel DAIRON, entrepreneur, mechanical construction and engine expert;
. Marc DENOUEIX, entrepreneur, engineer, early aviation specialist and Sarthe (France) WRIGHT brothers story expert;
. Alain VAN DROGENBROECK, former furniture craftman, in charge of the wooden made parts of the WRIGHT FLYER.
