Aero-Club of France monument is back close to its historical location, in Champagné

After a long adventure, Aero-Club of France monument dedicated to Wilbur WRIGHT is back close to its historical location, near Auvours military camp, in Champagné, Sarthe, France.

With great satisfaction of local neighbours and population of Champagné to whom a parcel of history was 'stolen' about 30 years ago.

Many thanks to Sarthe General Council, DDE (Sarthe public roads administration), cities of Champagné and Le Mans, to Union Immobilière (owner of the field where was the monument before its displacement), and CPAM (Social Security administration, user of the site where was the monument),and thanks to all who worked for a while to transform this project in reality.
